The Customer:
Cyberani Solutions is a cybersecurity company established by Raytheon Technologies and Aramco. They provide managed services to protect critical industries in Saudi Arabia, as well as the Middle East and North Africa regions. They understand the current cyber threats and regulatory requirements, and work to secure their clients’ IT infrastructure and operations.
The Challenge:
The customer, Cyberani Solutions, was looking for a solution to secure the information technology infrastructure and operations for their clients, particularly in critical industries, such as energy, across Saudi Arabia and the Middle East and North Africa regions. They initially planned to implement a hybrid model, where critical workloads would be on-prem and Public Cloud. However, they faced several challenges with this approach:
Compliance requirements: The customers, especially in the energy sector, required that complete data be kept on-prem as per National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) compliance regulations in Saudi Arabia. This added complexity to the deployment and the need for a dynamic solution that could be implemented quickly.
